Traffic on Vancouver's Lions Gate Bridge was jammed Wednesday morning after protesters attached themselves to cables on the bridge and unfurled a banner, prompting police to close the centre lane.

Bridge traffic was limited to one lane in each direction from about 5:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. PT, creating long delays for morning commuters.

At least two people from the group Fathers for Justice were arrested, and police reopened the centre lane by 9 a.m.
