Almost 200 people turned up at Stanley Park Wednesday to help search for Parkinson. (Submitted by Sean Gocher) Nearly 200 volunteers combed parts of downtown Vancouver Wednesday, searching for a 41-year-old businessman who mysteriously went missing three days ago.
Pierre Parkinson was last seen leaving his home on Vancouver's east side Sunday night at about 5 p.m. PT.
The search party of family, friends and co-workers apparently turned up no trace of the man.
Parkinson's car had been located at Prospect Point in Stanley Park Tuesday.
Family and friends say Parkinson's disappearance is completely out of character.
His wife gave birth to their second son two weeks ago, and both she and their two-year-old anxiously await Parkinson's return, family friend Sean Gocher said in a new release late Wednesday.
Parkinson is described as Caucasian, five feet, eleven inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with short salt and pepper coloured hair.
Pierre Parkinson, 41, has been missing since Sunday. (Submitted by Sean Gocher) "If you see Pierre, please stay with him and contact 911 immediately. Any leads can also be forwarded to 911," Gocher said.
