Police probe suspicious death in Surrey, B.C.

Police photograph a car in the parking lot of Surrey Lake Park containing a man's body. (CBC)A man's body has been found inside a vehicle in a parking lot in Surrey Lake Park in Surrey, B.C., under what police are calling suspicious circumstances.
The dead man is believed to have been in his mid-20s.
Police said the body was discovered in the parking lot near 152nd Street and 72nd Avenue at about 4:45 p.m. PT by an officer on patrol.
"[He] took a look inside the vehicle and located a male who was deceased. We're treating it as quite suspicious at this point," said Insp. Randal Marquardt of the Surrey RCMP.
Police would not say if there was any indication how the man had died.
By mid-evening, the area was surrounded by police tape and was under the control of a forensics team.
