Coast guard officials say a cruise ship has admitted responsibility for an oil spill spotted on the waters of Vancouver harbour near Canada Place on Thursday morning.

Crews put containment booms around the cruise ship Oceanic to contain and help clean up the heavy oil, which they believe may be recoverable, but there's no word yet on how much was spilled.
