Evacuation orders and alerts in effect for the Kelowna area

Details follow of the evacuation orders and alerts in place for residents affected by wildfires in the Kelowna area, as released by the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
Residents on the following streets have been evacuated from their residences:
- Bartley Road south of Lenz to Stevens
- Jok Mar Court
- Rosewood Court
- Rosemary Court
- Rosealee Lane
- Rose Tree Road
- Rosemeadow Drive
- Roseanne Court
- Roseabbey Drive
- Rosewood Drive
- Rosefield Drive
- McDougall Road
- Residents have been evacuated from the Brookhaven Care Home and are currently housed in Cottonwoods Care Home in Kelowna
- A 161-acre parcel of land located at DL3494 Highway 97
Residents on the following streets are asked to be prepared to leave with very short notice:
- Bear Creek Road
- Dougmac Road
- Petterson Road
- Rose Valley Road
Residents in the following areas are now on evacuation alert:
- West Kelowna Estates to Bear Creek Road
- The area on the north side of Shannon Lake Road from Stevens and Bartley including Talus Ridge Drive, Boulder Lake Boulevard, Pebble Place, Stonegrove Crescent, Cobble Stone Drive and Tuscany in the Talus Ridge subdivision.
The following streets in West Kelowna Estates representing approximately 1,500 homes are affected by the evacuation alert:
- Aurora Heights
- Bear Creek Road
- Bowes Road
- Caledonia Way
- Covington Crescent
- Devon Court
- Devon Road
- Diamond Drive
- Diamond View Drive
- Faulkner Crescent
- Faulkner Court
- Faulkner Road
- Griffiths Place
- Guest Road
- Hants Road
- Highway 97 – North side (Westlake Road to Horizon Drive)
- Horizon Court
- Horizon Drive
- Industrial Road
- Jack Boulevard
- Keloka Drive
- Keloka Place
- Keloka Way
- Kelowna Road
- Klein Road
- Lloyd Jones Drive
- MacPhail Court
- Marathon Court
- Marshall Road
- McDougall Road
- McNaughton Road

Officials are asking the public to:
- Turn off sprinklers and ensure automated systems are turned off to conserve water.
- Residents with livestock or other animals in the evacuation alert areas should consider an emergency plan for their animals. Care facilities have been notified and are preparing for evacuations if required.
- Avoid the Glenrosa area so emergency responders can effectively perform their duties.
- Stay tuned to the media or call the above public information number for further information.
- Do not call 911 unless it's a life-threatening emergency.
- Remain calm.
- Stay by the phone to receive a call if a family member(s) may have been impacted.
