Police were called to the home on 6300 block of 126th Street in Surrey around 11 a.m. PT to investigate reports of a shooting. (CBC)One man is in police custody after a double homicide and assault in Surrey, B.C., on Sunday morning.
At about 11 a.m. PT, Surrey RCMP received a 911 call alerting them to a shooting at a home in the 6300 block of 126th Street.
Officers found two dead men inside the house, as well as a woman who was seriously injured. She was taken to hospital by the B.C. Ambulance Service.
Police would not say whether the victims were shot.
Patrol officers took one man into custody, but police said his role in the incident was not immediately clear.
The Lower Mainland's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called in to investigate.
Police said it was too early to determine whether the incident was linked to drugs, gangs or organized crime.
