Shots fired in Vancouver area, no reports of injuries: police

A police officer investigates reports of shots fired on Wednesday night in Vancouver's Yaletown. (Submitted by Pascal Marchand)Shots were fired Wednesday night in the Yaletown area of downtown Vancouver, but there were no reports of injuries, police said.
Multiple 911 calls came in at 7:30 p.m. PT about gunfire in the 100 block of Drake Street, Vancouver police Const. Jana McGuinness said.
Investigators who arrived on the scene found a number of shell casings on the ground.
Some witnesses said they saw two vehicles leaving the area after the shots were fired.
Police are trying to piece together what happened.
