Police are investigating another homicide in Vancouver after a man was found dead in a vehicle on the city's east side.
Several 911 calls reported shots being fired just after 2 a.m., Const. Howard Chow said.
"When police arrived, they found a man slumped over the steering wheel of his car," Chow said. "He had been fatally shot."
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was found in a white, late model Cadillac in front of a residence on Napier Street, in Vancouver's east end. It is believed the residence was his.
The vehicle has been removed from the scene with the body inside.
Police said they don't believe this latest shooting was a random attack.
Further details of the homicide are not expected to be released until Sunday.
