Another Lower Mainland municipality has settled with its civic workers, but 5,300 Vancouver inside and outside workers are continuing their strike.
CUPE Local 454 reached a tentative agreement with the City of Delta and the Delta Police Board on Monday, but the terms aren't being released.
The 800 Delta workers will hold a ratification vote on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, three CUPE locals — representing inside, outside and library workers — remain on strike in Vancouver.
CUPE Local 391, which represents striking library workers, is scheduled to go into negotiations with the city on Wednesday.
But there are no talks planned between the city and the two locals representing the inside and outside workers.
Over the weekend, talks between the city and CUPE Local 15, which represents 3,500 inside workers, collapsed.
While Vancouver has seen little progress, there are talks with other CUPE locals in other cities.
Negotiators are back at the table in both Burnaby and Surrey, and the unions in both municipalities remain on the job.
Talks are also scheduled to resume early this week between the District of North Vancouver and about 800 city workers, as well as recreation commission employees, both represented by CUPE Local 389.
