The roof of the community centre in Fort Nelson has collapsed after sagging under the weight of heavy snow for more than a week.
No one was injured in the incident on Monday because the building had been evacuated and shut down last week after a Zamboni driver noticed the roof was sagging under several feet of snow.
The roof of the community centre in Fort Nelson, B.C., came crashing down on Monday.

"It came down like a deck of cards. We're devastated by this … it's a very very sad thing for our community … Your community centre is really the heartbeat of your community," said Mayor Chris Moray.
Fort Nelson will now have to find another location for everything from hockey games and trade shows to weddings and funerals.
The centre contained the town's ice rink, curling rink, visitor information centre and community hall.
The building's destruction came a month after an art gallery roof collapsed under heavy snow in the northern Alberta city of Grande Prairie.
The B.C. collapse is still being investigated.
