Homicide victim found in North Shore woods

The RCMP are investigating a homicide after a man was found badly beaten in a wooded area in North Vancouver that is populated by homeless people and squatters.
Emergency crews were called to the area near the Capilano mall on Monday evening and found the severely injured man.
Paramedics were unable to revive him and he was rushed to Lions Gate Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have identified him as 31-year-old Dayle Wendll Paull of North Vancouver and say the attack does not appear to be random.
Police have not said whether Paull was homeless and are releasing no other details of the case.
