Things went bump in the night, just east of Vancouver — but most people missed the Lower Mainland's latest earthquake.

The 3.3 quake was recorded at 11:02 last night and residents of Maple Ridge, Port Moody — and a few in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam — report feeling it.

According to the U.S. National Earthquake Information Centre, the quake was centred in Golden Ears Provincial Park, 59 kilometres northeast of Vancouver, and occurred four kilometres beneath the surface.

It wasn't strong enough to cause any damage.
