B.C.'s Victoria Day long weekend will kick off with showers on Friday and Saturday on the South Coast before clearing up Sunday and Monday, according to CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.
There is a chance of sunny breaks later on Friday afternoon, but Saturday will be grey with spots of rain.
Looking ahead, the best days for outdoor activities are Sunday and Monday, when there is only a slight chance of a sprinkle to interrupt mainly sunny skies.
