An eight-year-old boy and four-year-old girl who were attacked by a rottweiler in Surrey were released from hospital on Saturday.
The children were bitten while walking with their grandmother near 88th Avenue and 131st Street on Friday evening.
The animal had escaped from a nearby yard while playing fetch with its owner, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said.
The SPCA's Marcie Moriarty said the dog was recently rescued from a drug house. She said the dog has since been euthanized.
Earlier this month, an 11 year-old boy was attacked in a Surrey park by a pair of pit bulls. He needed more than 100 stitches to repair his injuries.
No information was released on the nature of the injuries to the boy and girl in the latest attack.
