Two recent murders in Abbotsford are linked, and both victims were involved in the drug trade, police said Wednesday.
The body of Jessica Amber Illes, 23, was found Sunday night in a home in the 31300 block of McConachie Place.
Police said they found her body while investigating another homicide.
The body of Bobby Leroy DiGeorgio, 24, was found in a burned vehicle in a berry field in the 400 block of Gladwin Road on Aug. 27.
Police said Illes and DiGeorgio were in a relationship, and were last seen together.
They were known for involvement in criminal activity and the drug trade, police said, and they consider their murders to be targeted.
