A driver caught speeding near Darfield, B.C. is facing criminal charges after police discovered $61,140 in his car.
The driver, an unidentified 35-year-old Surrey man, was stopped north of Kamloops on Tuesday afternoon.
The officer dealing with the incident grew suspicious of the driver and detained him while a police dog searched the vehicle.
A bag stuffed with neatly folded bills was found inside a suitcase in the trunk.
The driver has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime. He will make his first court appearance in Kamloops on April 11.
