Psych ward escapes worry neighbours
Neighbours of a Coquitlam, B.C., forensic psychiatric facility say they're worried about their safety after two patients recently walked away.
Gregory Owen Schleen walked away from the Colony Farm Forensic Hospital Wednesday. He suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and was sent to the facility after being found not criminally responsible for stabbing a friend in the abdomen with a kitchen knife.
David Fomradas was out on a day pass Sunday when he failed to return. He is bi-polar and was found not criminally responsible for the high-profile carjacking outside the CBC building in Vancouver.
As the CBC's Miyoung Lee reports, one neighbour says it's become too dangerous not to speak out.
