Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie, turned heads while hitting the slopes in Whistler, B.C.

Trudeau was a snowboarding instructor in the 1990s, and his old friends jokingly recall him as "one of the most dangerous people in the world to snowboard behind."

The Prime Minister and his wife stopped to take pictures with proud Canadians.

And, he even offered to buy aprés ski drinks.

While others tweeted invitations for them to drop by for a visit or just to chat.
