Police in Surrey and Abbotsford are looking for suspects in separate attacks on women.

Surrey RCMP say a man picked up a woman near University Drive and 105th Avenue at about 2 a.m. PT last Friday, took her to an alley and assaulted her, but the woman fought back and managed to flee the vehicle.

Police are looking for a man in his 20s with olive-coloured skin, dark brown curly hair with highlights and brown eyes.

Meanwhile, Abbotsford police are looking for a man in his late 30s or early 40s after a teen girl was assaulted near the 33500 block of South Fraser Way Tuesday morning.

Police say the man allegedly lured the girl into a treed area near an apartment complex before assaulting and attempting to rob her.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s to early 40s, weighing about 170 pounds with a scruffy beard and blonde hair.

He was wearing a red T-shirt with an emblem on the front, a black toque, baggy light-coloured jeans and a black fleece zip jacket under a red nylon jacket.
