Gateway Casinos will be showing off plans for a proposed casino in south Surrey on Wednesday night at an information session at the Hazelmere Golf Course.
The gaming facility would be located on 168th Street and 10th Avenue, not far from the Peace Arch Border, according to spokeswoman Tanya Gabara.
"It's going to have a state of the art, approximately 200-room hotel, 27,000 square feet of convention space, an 800-plus-theatre, as well as a gaming facility that would be approximately 60,000 square feet."
The city will hold a public hearing on the casino license later this month, but in the past, they have voted in favour of rezoning the land for a gaming facility.
Some residents are calling for a referendum on the new casino.
