Lingering moisture and an upper-level, low-pressure system moving south of B.C. led to a few morning showers across the Fraser Valley as well as thunderstorms for our friends in Seattle, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

But stronger northwesterly winds are clearing skies out nicely for most of Tuesday afternoon, and will begin easing in the evening. The ridge of high pressure holds for Wednesday, bringing a mix of sun and cloud to the South Coast.

There is a chance of rain again for Friday and Saturday, then a return to sunshine for Thanksgiving Sunday and Monday.
