Lingering showers Thursday night will give way to a full-on rainy Friday, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.
After a morning drizzle, parts of Metro Vancouver will continue to see a few sunny breaks through to the late afternoon.
But an isolated shower is definitely still a possibility thanks to the low-pressure system that has been sitting and spinning off the B.C. coast for the past few days.
As the low pressure weakens tonight, a new system will be allowed into our region, bringing a full day of rain to Vancouver Friday.
Expect 15 to 30 millimetres by Friday night, before tapering to Saturday showers. Still looking good for some sun on Sunday though.
