Police are on a manhunt for the suspect in a drive-by shooting in Victoria, B.C., early Monday morning.

Police thought they had tracked the shooter to an apartment building in the 900 block of Esquimalt Road, and officers spent 16 hours outside the apartment of the alleged suspect.
But Const. Mike Russell says officers found the suite empty when they finally went inside at around midnight Tuesday morning.
"We were able to get into the suite in question last night, [but] did not find the suspect," he said.
Russell said the search would continue Tuesday.
"[We've] got our full team back in ... ready to roll. [It] certainly will be another long day of looking for this guy — certainly dedicated, and hoping to track him down," Russell said.
On Monday, police arrested a woman believed to be an accomplice of the shooter. Police said they are also seeking Dennis Fletcher, 23, for questioning but members of the public are asked not to approach him.
No charges have been laid against anyone in connection with the shooting.
The shooting victim was released from hospital Monday.
