Traffic was backed up for hours on Sea To Sky Highway Wednesday afternoon, after a logging truck overturned and spilled its load near the Cheakamus Canyon.
One person was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
It's not known if this person was the driver of the truck or the driver of another vehicle.
The accident happened just before 2 p.m. PT halfway between Squamish and Whistler.
The highway was initially down to one alternating lane, but shortly after 5 p.m. PT, the road was reopened.
