IHIT investigates homicide in Surrey
Investigators believe the incident was targeted
Police are investigating a homicide, believe to be targeted, in Surrey.
Surrey RCMP were called to the Cloverdale area, at the 17800 block of 64th Avenue, shortly after 12 a.m. PT on Jan. 7. Police found an injured man who later died.
Foul play was suspected, so the Integrated Homicide Investigation team was called on scene to investigate.
Police believe the incident was targeted.
Investigators blocked the area of 64th Avenue from 176 Street to 179 Street until 10:20 a.m.
