Hillary Rodham Clinton is coming to Vancouver in March.

The former U.S. Secretary of State and former First Lady will be the keynote speaker for the Women’s Leadership Circle organized by the Vancouver Board of Trade.

“When Mrs. Clinton had announced she was going to be working with agents and taking very, very limited speaking engagements, we started working on it right away,” said the board's president Iain Black, who calls the event a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"She has taken an incredible journey personally over the last 20 years and has an incredible lens through which she views the world."

The event, which is part of a special program that encourages women's business networking, will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on March 5.

Board members can start buying tickets on Tuesday, while public ticket sales begin next Saturday.
