Photographs taken at the location of a grad bush party where a 17-year-old was allegedly sexually assaulted have been turned in to police in Kamloops, B.C.
RCMP Cpl. Cheryl Bush said that as many as 1,000 high school graduates attended the unsanctioned party Tuesday night, where the teen girl became separated from her friends.
The girl was approached by a male she didn't know and was taken into a wooded area where she was allegedly sexually assaulted.
Kamloops RCMP issued a public request Wednesday to turn in any photos or videos that might have recorded the assault.
Bush said Thursday that the police are already receiving information from the public, and are reviewing some photos that have been sent in.
Police also asked anyone not to publish or share photos of the alleged assault through social media.
Earlier this year, a man was sentenced for distribution of obscene material after he posted photos of an alleged rape of at teenaged girl at a Pitt Meadows rave.
