Friday will be the last in this stretch of fair weather days for B.C.'s South Coast, as rain continues to be on course for Saturday evening, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.
Once more, parts of Metro Vancouver may wake up to fog and low cloud Friday morning but you may have also noticed those glorious sunsets and haze. While air quality is low risk for Vancouver, we may be seeing increased particulates in the atmosphere. A general upper-level westerly flow in the atmosphere may be bringing in smoke from forest fires currently burning in Russia. Look for another glorious sunset Thursday night.
Expect increasing cloud for the South Coast Saturday with evening showers. Full-on rain for Sunday.
