Car Free Day celebrates its tenth year of community fun. Tread where pedestrians usually wouldn't dare as huge chunks of Commercial Drive, Denman Street and Main Street are closed off to car traffic. Check out music, art, food, and more.

World Cup: Italy vs. England
June 14 - 3:00 p.m.
A marquee match up between two of the world's traditional soccer powerhouses will have fans across Metro Vancouver on the edge of their seats. Commercial Drive will be hopping with Azurri supporters, while the London Pub on Main is home to supporters of the Three Lions. This game anchors an outstanding day of World Cup action.
Father's Day Catch at Nat Bailey Stadium
June 15 - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The Vancouver Canadians give dads and their kids a chance to play catch on the field at Nat Bailey Stadium. Avoid heart-breaking 'Cats in the Cradle' scenarios. Get out on the field and play ball!

Lafarge Lake Free Fishing Day
June 14 - 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC will be stocking Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam with rainbow trout in the morning, meaning it will be chock-full for kids and other first time fishers by the time they're out on the water. This family-friendly event aims to bring this lifelong pursuit to a new and enthusiastic group of fishers.

An Evening with Oliver Stone
June 14 - 8:00 p.m.
One of the most influential filmmakers of our era will be in Vancouver at the Vogue Theatre on Saturday night. Stone will screen his film 'The Untold History of the United States – Bush II & Obama: The Age of Terror' and will also be giving a talk with a Q&A to finish up. Tickets are $25.
