Driver dies after collision on Boundary Road in Vancouver

Vancouver police say a driver is dead and a passenger is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after the car they were in struck a hydro pole Sunday.

Boundary Road closed southbound near Marine Way for a few hours

Vancouver police say a driver is dead and a passenger is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after the car they were in struck a hydro pole Sunday. 

The crash happened on Boundary Road near Marine Way just before noon. There was only the one vehicle involved in the collision.

Police say the road will be closed southbound from Rumble Street for a few hours as the Collision Investigation Unit collects evidence to determine what caused the crash.
