Coyote family rousted from B.C. school
A family of coyotes is looking for a new home after they were evicted from a den underneath a school portable at a Burnaby, B.C., elementary school.
It’s believed the mother and two pups had occupied the den for at least three days before they were rousted Tuesday.
Although coyotes don’t usually present a threat to humans, there was some concern that the mother could become aggressive if she thought the pups were in trouble or if she was cut off from them.
But as the CBC’s Deborah Goble reports, the students were more excited than scared by the school’s temporary residents.
