CBC Live on Location

Margaret Gallagher
The Early Edition

The Early Edition's reporter Margaret Gallagher joins Maple Ridge for the morning commute. From cycling and transit, to cars and bridges, she'll look how people get around the community, and into the surrounding area.

Mark Forsythe
B.C. Almanac

B.C. Almanac will be out in Maple Ridge at the Billy Miner Alehouse. Like many communities around the province, Maple Ridge is growing, and needs space for new commercial endeavours. Mark Forsythe will be joined by Agricultural Land Commission Executive Director Brian Underhill, and Maple Ridge Mayor Ernie Daykin to talk about what that means for existing farmland. Join that conversation, along with the news of the day from noon to one.

Stephen Quinn
 On the Coast

Join host Stephen Quinn and the On The Coast crew at the Billy Miner Alehouse in Maple Ridge, from 3 pm to 6 pm. We'll chat with a couple of local reporters about pressing issues in the community and with the Director of Planning about development in the area. We'll discuss the district's innovative public art plan and the president of the local minor hockey association will share some insight on the legacy of elite athletes that hail from Maple Ridge. Singer/songwriter Hilary Grist - who grew up in Maple Ridge - will be the musical guest.
