Two infections have struck Hannah Day and her compromised immune system as she goes through chemotherapy. The four-year-old now has the H1N1 flu virus affecting her lungs and C. difficile affecting her bowels.

As her mother explains to the CBC’s Emily Elias, it’s been a struggle to stay strong in the face of such adversity.
