A nice ridge of high pressure has built up on B.C.'s South Coast, bringing sunshine and warming temperatures today and Thursday, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.
Chilly mornings with some fog will give way to afternoon highs in the upper teens through Thursday but by Friday, a Pacific low-pressure system will move in. Clouds, rain, gusty winds and cooler temperatures will start Friday and persist through the weekend for Vancouver.
Snow levels will also drop again for Sunday into Monday for more snow on the mountains. We could be looking at a big rain and snow event for the South Coast.
