A 38-year-old Revelstoke, B.C., man has been charged with voyeurism after allegedly being caught trying to take photos of people in a community centre changeroom.

In a written release, Revelstoke RCMP say the man appeared to be using his cellphone to see under the doors of the changeroom at the Revelstoke Community Centre on Jan. 5.

A staff member held the man until police arrived.

The man was arrested and his cellphone seized.

He has since been released on conditions, including that he not return to the community centre.

Police say they also went to the man's home and seized computers for a forensic examination.

The man, whose name has not been released, is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 6.
