A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in the double homicide of two men and attempted killing of a woman in Chilliwack, B.C.

Homicide investigators in the Lower Mainland are looking for Aaron James David Douglas, 33, in connection with the double homicide of two men and attempted killing of a woman in Chilliwack, B.C. (IHIT)

RCMP were called to an apartment in Hawthorne Manor, in the 4600 block of Gore Avenue, on August 7, following multiple reports of shots fired.

Homicide investigators in the Lower Mainland now say they are looking for 33-year-old Aaron James David Douglas in connection with the incident.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Douglas has a criminal record dating back to 1996 and he is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Sgt. Jennifer Pound of the agency says people should not confront or approach Douglas, but instead should call 911.

Police have identified the two homicide victims as Richard Blackmon, 38, and Tyler Belcourt, 36. Officers are not identifying the female victim.
