RCMP in Sooke, B.C. are looking for someone who is taking pot shots at the windshields of B.C. Transit buses.

Transit spokesperson Meribeth Burton says someone with a pellet gun hit the front windshields of six buses over the past week, as they were travelling along Sooke Road between 5 p.m. PT and 8 p.m.

"The first two incidents happened on Hallowe'en night and you know, you can sort of forgive some nonsense that happens around Hallowe'en," says Burton.

"But we started to notice a pattern and that's when the Sooke RCMP have become involved."

Burton says no one has been injured, but it has cost $10,000 dollars to replace the buses' windshields.

"They are all fired at the front windshield. You know this is a public safety issue," she said.

"It's not funny, it's not a prank, it's not child's play.  It can be a very dangerous situation."
