The British Columbia Lottery Corporation says the winning ticket in Friday's $30-million Lotto Max draw was purchased in B.C.'s Fraser Valley in the city of Abbotsford.
The last Lotto Max big-money winner from B.C. was Atlin resident Steve Murphy, who walked away with $16,666,666.
Two other tickets bought in B.C. matched six of seven numbers in Friday's draw.
Holders of those tickets, which were bought in the Okanagan city of Vernon and the Vancouver Island town of Comox, will soon be $141,026 richer.
So far this year, residents of both Langley and Victoria have each won lottery prizes of $1 million.
