18 dachshunds seized by B.C. SPCA
The B.C. SPCA is trying to find homes for 18 dachshunds who were surrendered by a breeder in Chilliwack last week.
The dogs were handed over after it was agreed the breeder had too many on her hands.
The dachshunds, which range in age from one to five, have been boarded among a number of Lower Mainland shelters and are generally in good health.
But as the CBC’s Stephanie Mercier reports, some of them might need patient and experienced owners.
