Denver Broncos quarterback Brian Griese was reportedly injured Sunday night at a party hosted by running back Terrell Davis.
The Denver Post quoted Arapahoe County Undersheriff Grayson Robinson as saying Griese was running down the driveway of Davis' home when he stumbled and knocked himself unconscious.
The newspaper reports Griese was taken to Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, where he received seven stitches above his right eye.
He was also treated on Monday for a chipped tooth.
There was no indication that alcohol was involved in the incident.
Griese is expected to be ready for a throwing camp June 10-14.
Griese was put on 12 months probation in March of last year after pleading guilty to driving while impaired after failing a breathalyzer test.
He was also put in the NFL's substance abuse program.
