With an estimated 2.2 million unique visitors per month RedFlagDeals.com provides online coupons to discount-hungry shoppers — "an increasingly important share of consumer-related traffic," Yellow Pages said in a release.

In a separate deal, Yellow Pages Group has also agreed to buy 411.ca by acquiring an ownership interest in 411 Local Search Corp.

Yellow Pages already owns Canada411.ca and YellowPages.ca, online versions of the company's printed directories. In 411.ca, has acquired a website that is attracting close to ten per cent of Canadian online users, generating 13 million queries for local Canadian businesses each month, a Yellow Pages release said Monday.

The company didn't disclose the terms of either transaction.
