Quebecor World Inc. and Yellow Pages Group have inked a printing contract worth over $1 billion that will extend through 2020, the companies said Thursday.

The agreement extends existing directory printing contracts in Eastern, Western and Central Canada and increases the volumes produced by Quebecor World.

Quebecor will print more than 300 directories for Yellow Pages, including stand-alone residential and business directories for Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg, along with combined white- and yellow-page directories for smaller communities.

The two companies have been working together since the Montreal white pages were introduced in the late 1800s and since Yellow Pages directories were introduced in 1908.
