Air Canada/Canadian Airlines has announced a fall seat sale, offering fare reductions of up to 40 per cent for many of its domestic and international destinations.

The sale ends Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000. All reservations must be made and tickets purchased by that date.

The sale covers departures as early as Sept. 13, 2000 and up to Dec. 14, 2000.

The sale comes one day after Halifax-based CanJet began flying across Canada advertising cut-rate fares to a handful of domestic destinations.
