Pepsi to cut up to 100 Canadian jobs
PepsiCo Canada will cut up to 100 jobs in Canada as part of the parent company's restructuring.
A PepsiCo Canada spokeswoman confirmed Friday that one per cent or less of its Canadian workforce of 10,000 will be cut.
She did not provide any more details.
The food and drinks maker announced a restructuring on Thursday that includes cutting 8,700 jobs globally and plowing money into advertising drinks like Pepsi and Mountain Dew in North America.
The soft drink maker employs about 10,000 people divided among PepsiCo Beverages Canada, Frito Lay Canada and Quaker.
