Bombardier rolls out Netherlands train order
Bombardier Transportation said Wednesday it has a deal to supply Netherlands Railway with 50 double-deck, four-car electrical trains.
The order is worth about $661 million.
Netherlands Railway has ordered the new trains to stock up on its double-deck fleet, which already includes 378 cars.
The first of the new trains will be delivered to Netherlands Railway beginning in June 2008. They will be built at the Bombardier sites in Gorlitz and Aachen, both in Germany.
