Original Homestead circa 1911
![]()
The original homestead in Coquitlam was located at 2426 Pitt River Road (now Lougheed Highway), B.C. The land was eventually reposessed by the government, to make way for the Lougheed Highway. In 1967, Mrs. L. Pickton - Robert William Pickton's mother - applied to the city to move the house to 953 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam. It remained on Dominion Avenue until police excavated the site in 2002.
This is a photo of the original homestead from 1911.
