Food: Whether you're trying to lose weight or simply trying to stay healthy, it can be difficult keeping up on which foods are good for you and which ones just taste good.
The Canadian diet is a paradox. We know what makes us fat, but we keep on eating too much. We worry about the hazards of trans fatty acids, yet we continue to stuff our faces with processed foods that contain trans fats.
We know if we eat properly and exercise we'll look and feel better, but we'd rather channel-hop between cooking shows than get off the couch and make a home-cooked meal.
For almost a century we've known fat can be deadly, yet we're getting fatter and fatter with every generation.
So what do we eat? And what should we eat? And is there anything the nutritionists, the media and the food industry can do to make us change our ways?
