Air India warned Canada of threat of sabotage – CSIS says threat level "high." RCMP submission to Security and Intelligence Review Committee of Parliament:







June 9th, 1985, Hamilton police informer reports on previous day’s visit of Parmar and AjaibSingh Bagri to Malton Sikh Temple. Sikhs told "it would be unsafe" to fly Air India.







June 19, 1985: CP Air gets a call to book the Air India plane tickets in the name of "Singh." Caller leaves phone number of Hardial Singh Johal. CSIS wiretap shows Parmar telling Johal to "do that work." Tape is erased, but translator’s notes survive:







Johal calls Parmar back: "come over and read the story."
