Harper and his wife, Laureen, visited RK Studios, where a segment of the popular Indian reality TV show, Dance Premier League, was set to air.
After sitting through most of the numbers, the Harpers joined the cast of sari-clad women on stage for the rollicking finale.
It was a performance that rivalled the prime minister's recent appearance playing the piano and singing a Beatles song at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
