Conan O'Brien is expected to be back on the job Monday after hitting his head during a Tonight Show stunt.

NBC said in a statement Saturday that O'Brien was resting comfortably at home after being checked and released from hospital.

The network says the accident Friday halted production of the talk show. NBC aired a rerun with guest Jeremy Piven.

According to NBC's website, the scheduled show was supposed to include Teri Hatcher.

The 46-year-old comedian issued a statement via NBC on Friday about the incident.

"The last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice," O'Brien said.

O'Brien took over as host of the show from Jay Leno in June.
